MARLEYxSH SydneySELECTED WORKS
MARLEY is a creative technologist and illustrator based between Sydney and Berlin, with an interdisciplinary practice that spans painting, illustration, textile design, videography, publication design and blockchain experimentation.

Trained in oil painting at the National Art School Sydney, then studying publication and print media at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (Melbourne), her work spans traditional media and experimentation with digital technologies. She co-founded Toy Frens, a blockchain-native NFT community on Ethereum, exploring the intersection of digital and physical realms through photography. Her work engages with the archive as a living, participatory experience, questioning how information is shared and reimagined. Through her work, Marley shapes creative dialogues between technology, memory, and collective agency.

6thouse is an ongoing illustration and tattoo practice I founded in 2019. Originally created as a space to explore personal visual language and client work, it has since evolved into a multi-disciplinary studio with a focus on storytelling, symbolism, and community connection. Through 6thouse, I’ve developed a distinctive illustration style and completed a hands-on tattoo apprenticeship, which laid the foundation for a thriving tattoo practice that continues to grow.

Over the years, 6thouse has expanded its offerings beyond tattooing, moving into brand identity development, product design, silversmithing, and creative consultation. The studio's work is rooted in thoughtful, often mystical aesthetics, with a focus on craft, ritual, and emotional resonance. Recent highlights include contributing to Primavera Filippi’s AI trained platform ALIAS, exploring decentralised creative systems, and the development of a custom Tarot deck that weaves archetype, memory, and visual narrative into a cohesive tool for reflection and self-inquiry.
